C.K. Gourmet Tuyo Creamy Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Gourmet Tuyo
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 250ml all purpose cream
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 500g. linguini
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Flake Gourmet Tuyo.
  • Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat and sauté garlic 1 minute or till fragrant. Do not brown.
  • Add sliced mushrooms to pan with a small pinch of salt and ¼ tsp. ground black pepper. Sauté 5 min.
  • Reduce heat to low, pour in cream and ½ cup of the reserved pasta water, then add cooked linguini. Toss to coat.
  • Take pan off the flame and mix in flaked tuyo. If sauce gets too thick, just add pasta water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Transfer to serving dish.
